An Atlantic writer takes a look at Facebook’s effect on the news.
Facebook is usually spread with gossip and celebrity satire. There are occasional news stories tossed in that actually have meaning, but Facebook remains a pool of self thought. Also, the “News Feed” is littered with the “Did they really do this?” kind of stories instead of reliable information. (At least that is what it is like on my “News Feed”.)
Good point, Jackson! My news feed looks much the same and I am a news junkie.
